Katharine Landfield
Senior Advocacy Strategist

Katharine Landfield is an economic and racial justice advocate with decades of experience in service to families, community strengthening, policy change, and direct clinical services. In the past several years she has been involved in various movements for workers’ and tax justice.

DC cannot flourish if we continue to freeze Black and brown working-class and poor folks out of resources and power. Being the daughter of a refugee and a former social worker, Katharine has seen up close that children do well when their families are doing well; families do well when their communities are doing well.

Katharine is the mother of two wonderful young people, loves to hike in Rock Creek Park, and hopes to be a badass in old age. She holds degrees in religion, social work, and policy leadership.
