The Fair Budget Coalition is a people-first organization. We are not a think tank or a consulting firm. We are a coalition of 60 organizations and almost 90 constituent member rooted in the communities most affected by DC’s budget choices.

Our DC Council candidate scorecard reflects that grounding. The questions you see were drafted with input from a broad coalition of partners who told us what they needed to know about every candidate seeking their vote. Those questions were then sharpened by our Civic Power Working Group, a body of FBC members who are well-versed in electoral strategy and accountability work.
